This Viper Went Full Blue and We’re Not Mad About It

Custom blue LEGO Milano Viper spaceship MOC displayed on an angled stand with swept wings and transparent blue cockpit details

Some builders spend weeks planning. Sp00ds spent an afternoon sorting parts and came out the other side with this absolutely menacing viper spacecraft — and honestly, that might be the most AFOL thing I’ve ever heard.

The Milano Viper is a sleek, aggressive little ship that looks like it could slide into any sci-fi universe and immediately start causing problems. The all-blue colorway is a bold departure — bright blue hull, dark blue accents, transparent blue cockpit and engine glow effects — and it works beautifully. SNOT construction keeps those angled surfaces smooth, while the swept wing tips taper to sharp points using wedge plates. The greebled engine section adds just enough mechanical detail to sell the illusion of actual thrust.

But here’s where it gets interesting: Sp00ds isn’t just some random builder having a good afternoon. This is someone who won an international LEGO competition back in 2016 — the “Baddest Ninjago Villain” contest — and got flown to Denmark to meet actual LEGO designers. With 467 MOCs on their Flickr and back-to-back Brick Universe Fan Vote wins in 2024 and 2025, the quality bar here is well-established. The Milano Viper is a casual flex from someone who clearly knows their way around a parts bin.

That dramatic display stand tilting the ship skyward? Chef’s kiss. Sometimes the simplest presentation choices make the biggest difference.
