Sixty pieces. That’s all Dan Ko needed to capture one of the most iconic moments in basketball — Shaq absolutely destroying a backboard on a monster dunk.

The genius here is in the details at micro scale. A transparent panel becomes the shattering backboard, with clear 1×1 plates and tiles frozen mid-fall as glass shards scatter across the court. The brick-built Shaq himself is a masterclass in part economy — brown mechanical arms for limbs, a pacifier piece repurposed as the rim grip, yellow wedge plates for those unmistakable Lakers shorts, and white cloth pieces adding motion to the sneakers. The tan tile base sells the hardwood floor perfectly.
Built for Round 1 of the Rogue Olympics 2026 contest with the theme “Fragile” — and yeah, that backboard definitely qualifies.
