Timothy may be small, but he has exactly the kind of squat, suspicious garden energy every good porch toad needs. _Mr_Mars_ keeps the build wonderfully compact: olive and tan plates fold into a chunky little body, while the brick-red head gives him that sun-warmed, mud-splashed look of a real amphibian who has Opinions about being photographed.

What I like most is how unfussy the shaping feels. The angled body sections do a lot with very few parts, creating those tucked haunches and broad back without turning Timothy into a pile of hinges. The black round eyes are simple, bold, and instantly readable, and the tiny tan feet planted on the rock sell the whole pose. He is not leaping, croaking, or doing anything dramatic. He is just existing in the grass like a tiny backyard cryptid, and honestly, that is perfect.
