FS Leinad’s Evening Train is the kind of microscale scene that makes you lean in and start playing “spot the seed part.” Built for an Iron Builder round against Dicken Liu, it sneaks five navy blue tool boxes into a quiet little railway landscape, which is exactly the sort of constraint-fueled nonsense I adore.

The charm here is in the restraint. Microscale trains can get busy fast, but this one lets the mood do the heavy lifting: a tiny train, a soft evening horizon, and enough clever part usage to make the whole thing feel bigger than it is. The best bit may be the “sky,” which FS notes is almost entirely in-camera, using a computer screen as the backdrop. That is wonderfully low-tech and extremely effective, like stagecraft for plastic bricks.
