“Waste Wraith” sounds like something you encounter after ignoring three radiation warnings and a suspiciously cheap salvage contract. Excellent name for a LEGO mech, frankly. Builder Gnarlicbread_ has my attention before the imaginary Geiger counter even starts clicking.

Filed under cyberapocalypse, LEGO space, robot, and mecha, this creation occupies a wonderfully grim corner of the brick-built galaxy. Those tags suggest a setting where the shiny future has expired, the warranty is worthless, and whatever comes stalking out of the scrapyard probably isn’t bringing spare batteries.
What hooks me is the contrast packed into that title: “waste” promises discarded machinery, while “wraith” suggests something elusive and unsettling. That’s a tasty creative brief for a robot builder. How do you make mechanical bulk feel ghostly? How much machine remains before it becomes a monster? I’m not declaring any particular part the answer without a closer look, but those are exactly the questions that send me hunting through a MOC’s details.
