When your Iron Builder seed part is a navy blue toolbox, the obvious answer is… Renaissance sleeves? FS Leinad turns four of the chunky little cases into the broad, dark-blue arms of this wonderfully stylized cartographer. It is exactly the sort of parts alchemy Iron Builder does best: once you see the toolboxes in place, they stop being storage and start looking like heavy folds of fabric.

The rest of the figure keeps that same toy-box portraiture going. A halo of white square frames makes a magnificent ruff, while ridged white cylinders give the hands an almost carved-wood texture. The long tan face is wonderfully severe, and those stacked gold round elements down the torso add just enough gentleman-scholar swagger. Best of all, the tiny printed map points his attention toward the globe on that spindly brown table, turning a compact character model into a complete little scene. Somewhere, a sea monster is waiting just beyond the edge of that tile.
