There is a special kind of joy in watching a cute LEGO Minecraft chicken get promoted from backyard mob to battlefield equipment. Pohaturon’s Poultry Pulverizer takes set 21582 Chicken Jockey and rebuilds it into exactly the kind of ridiculous blocky war machine that Minecraft logic deserves. It is still unmistakably chicken, which is the important part, but now it looks ready to stomp across the Overworld with malicious clucking intent.
The best alternate builds always feel like a magic trick: same parts, completely different attitude. Here, the charm comes from leaning into Minecraft’s chunky geometry instead of fighting it. The chicken form gives the model instant personality, while the mech idea lets those square shapes become armored plating, stout legs, and a wonderfully silly cockpit-ready silhouette. It is not trying to be sleek. It is trying to be hilarious and menacing at the same time, which is much better.
There is a fun behind-the-scenes wrinkle, too: Pohaturon worked on the original set as a LEGO Minecraft model designer, then brought this alt build to a livestream for the Chicken Mounts add-on. Even better, the name came from the chat. Sometimes the internet absolutely nails it.
