If you’re going to build a Mad Max vehicle out of LEGO, you’d better make it look like it was dragged through the Wasteland and put back together with whatever was lying around. Eero Okkonen nailed it.
This Speed Champions-scaled rendition of Nux’s 1934 Chevrolet 5 Window Coupe from Fury Road is pure post-apocalyptic perfection. The SNOT bodywork creates those smooth, battle-scarred panels while the engine bay overflows with rubber hoses, Technic connectors, and mechanical greebling that screams “built from scrap.” Dark orange and brown accents on the front bumper sell the rust, and those oversized rear tires give it the aggressive hot-rod stance every War Boy dreams of.

But the real flex? Those thunderstick poles topped with repurposed minifigure heads as skull totems. It’s the kind of detail that makes you zoom in and grin.
Eero is a prolific Finnish AFOL based in Tampere with nearly 900 builds on his Flickr — and a dedicated blog, Cyclopic Bricks, where he dives deeper into his process. This particular build won the pro category in Palikkatakomo’s Speed Champions-themed “familiar from digital media” contest, and with over 1,100 views already, it’s easy to see why.
